Q.1. Why XYZ city is not supported? It is well known city than city ABC Panchang supports?

Ans.1. Please let us know the city you want us to include. In next version we'll try to include suggested cities.

Q.2. How to find my Sun sign?

Ans.2. You can check your sunsign in day panchang view. Please switch to day panchang view by tapping on any day cell in month grid.
• In day panchang view tap on navi pane (Gregorian date) at top to get “Goto Date” prompt
• Enter your date of birth (on Gregorian Calendar) and press “Ok”
• Check the "Sun" row in currently visible day panchang view (Please make sure that you consider your birth time while looking your sunsign. If your birth time is 07:30:22 a.m. and sunsign shows "Makara 06:30:12" then your sunsign would be shown on next day panchang view as Makara sign got over at 06:30:12).

Q.3. How to find my Moon sign?

Ans.3. You can check your moonsign in day panchang view. You can switch to day panchang view by tapping on any day cell in month grid.

Q.4. Why don't you support Vaishnav Ekadashis?

Ans.4. Currently Adarsh Panchang lists Ekadashis based on Smarth Sect. Most of the festivals follow rules prescribed by Smarth Sect. However, whenever Janmashtami and Ram Navami are on different days Adarsh Panchang lists both days separately (we mark Smarth event by '*' to emphasize that Vaishnav Sect festival date is different from Smarth Sect festival date.

Q.5. Why don't you list moonset moments?

Ans.5. Currently we support only moonrise moments as none of festivals we list are decided on moonset moment.

Q.6. Does Adarsh Panchang list skipped Nakshatra, Yoga and Karana?

Ans.6. Yes. The latest version 4.0.0 lists skipped Nakshatra, Yoga and Karana along with other panchang elements.

Q.7. You don't you list festival XYZ. It is bigger or more popular than ABC you list?

Ans.7. Please let us know which festival you want us to list. In next version we'll try to include suggested festivals.

Q.8. How authenticated your work is?

Ans.8. You can compare our results with www.mypanchang.com which is also based on Drik Ganitha and available online. Our Eclipse data (both Solar and Lunar eclipses) for each year can be matched with online data provided by NASA. Sunrise and Sunset can be matched with published Sunrise and Sunset (within 10 minutes range because Hindu Sunrise and Sunset moments are planetary and not based on observational Sunset and Sunrise moments).

Q.9. Why your sunrise and sunset moments don't match with published one in ABC newspaper?

Ans.9. Hindu Sunrise and Sunset are not observational and cannot be matched with those published in various newspapers.

Q.10. Do you have plans to provide Surya Siddhantic version of Panchang?

Ans.10. It can be provided for research purposes. Please contact us if you want to get similar Panchang which are based on Surya Sidhhanta. However you have to convince us why you need Surya Siddhantic version.

Q.11. Your festival dates seem correct for India but for other countries they seem incorrect?

Ans.11. We use same method to list Indian Festivals and others. If you believe it is correct for India then it would be correct for other countries also. All festivals go through same calculations.
